Social Media

When Was It? Every Wednesday we post #WhenWasItWednesday with an object or photograph from our collection to social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter). You’ll need to guess the year based on what you see (car models, stores, fashion, hair styles and trends). Here's the catch: we don't have dates for every object or photograph in our collection; we are counting on you to help us narrow down the time frame! @AuroraHistoryCO on all platforms.

Geocaches

Find geocaches located at Aurora Landmarks No. 5, No. 9, No. 11 and No. 26 using Geocaching.com. After you find the cache, visit the Aurora History Museum during regular business hours and receive a limited edition coin for each geocache you find. We showcase a different historic landmark every year, so start your collection today!
Coins are limited and are available on a first come, first serve basis. You do not need to pick up the coin on the same day you find the cache.
